There Goes My Hero

Well, the time finally came on Friday for Nate to leave Germany and head to Iraq for four months. It was quite an experience for first timers like us to see what exactly happens when preparing for a deployment. There was a lot of paperwork, a lot of meetings, and a lot of waiting, but now he's in Iraq and ready to get to work. I on the other hand am still in Germany, but luckily I have great friends who are keeping me occupied and a long list of projects to get done before he comes back.

Awww, Jess. I can't imagine being separated for that long. We'll be thinking of y'all these next four months.
